What happened to Fashion?

God I miss fashion from the late 90s early 2000s. When the most revealing it really got was showing off your belly in a crop top. It was all sleeveless tops, soft flare pants, lots of patterns and colorful. Back when jeans started being fitted but before skinny jeans. Back when Britany Spears wore that not too tight red body suit in "Oops i did it again" and Lizzy Mcguire had crimpt hair. A*teens and N*sync (before Justin Timberlake discovered acid wash jean jackets). The old Christina Aguilera, looking stunning with her half assed dredds in her "Beautiful" video. What happened to fashion?
