A little about me

So what is there to say about me personally? At first I didn’t know what to say so I decided to go through Facebook photos and see what came to mind.

The first thing that came to mind is that I just recently had back surgery. I won’t bore anyone with the details but I was laid up for quite a while and I’m still in recovery. I can’t bend or reach. Even sitting for long hurts. But I had a great support system and I’m on my way to getting better.

I guess it’s worth mentioning that I had graduated high school in 2012.

I earned an award from my high school Digital Design Academy Teacher for Integrated Technology Fashion Design using Adobe Programs. I also upcycled my prom dress as pictured below. After high school, I had gone to The Arts Institute of Fort Lauderdale for a while. I had applied for and won both the Passion for Fashion Scholarship (Which I won for the state but didn’t place nationally) and for the 10 Design Scholarship, both earning me jointly $15,000.

I worked on my Passion for Fashion entry for over a year. I had over 50 designs

before I settled on my final design.

My 10 Design Scholarship was a lot easier. I really enjoyed designing everything and I JUST made the deadline.

I was only at AI for a few semesters before a computer error lead to me losing my funding. I enjoyed my time there and learned a few tips and tricks but nothing I didn’t already know. I wasn’t there long enough to really learn what I needed but I’m grateful for my time there either way.

Im still designing these days but not as often as I like. I have a Google Nexus 2012 tablet that I got for school for drawing out my designs. I draw when I can but I haven’t spit as many out over the last year as I would have liked to. To be honest I think I designed more in high school because I would do that rather than my school work…. Lol

I have a boyfriend Chris, who I absolutely love and adore. Him and his family are amazing. I adore his little sister and his grandparents own cute goats. XD He has been with me through thick and thin. It all started in high school.
I have a dog my boyfriend and I adopted. His name is Oliver and we adopted him from the Port St. Lucie Humane Society. He is a Beagle/ Terrier mix and he is the sweetest nut you will ever meet.

I absolutely LOVE my friends. I have no clue where I would be without their love, support, and insanity. I have sooo many pictures so this is the most I could get to fit in one collage.

My family is a major support system. I was lucky enough to go to visit my family up North with Chris, my mom, and my sister.  I love my mom and she has been one of my biggest fans. She is amazing and says she will help me go back to college.  She is going to help me pay for classes and when she does my aunt says she is going to meet my mom for whatever she pays class for class. I plan to go back to college but I’m going back for hair this time.
Speaking of hair, my hair is constantly changing. I have been keeping it shorter the last few years but the color is in constant flux. Pink has always been my go to though. Here are just a FEW, that’s right I said a few, of the colors I have had over the last few years. I plan to make a post about my hair story sometime in the future.
And still on the topic of hair, I have a thing for wigs. I love them! I have a list of cosplays I want to do so I plan to get as many of the wigs as I can to start out with. Not to mention I need a natural color wig for work since my real hair is some sort of neon more often than not.

Other than all that I guess it’s worth mentioning that I have a bad habit of taking pictures in mirrors. It’s mostly to save an image of my outfit or my hair color but still.
Other than that here are some honorable mentions that I swiped from Facebook….

Oh and lastly apparently Santa thinks I’m both Naughty and Nice, who knew? (the sign flickers between naughty and nice and it’s supposed to show which you are when you take a picture with it)

So yeah that’s a bit about me. Hope I didn't bore anyone. =)
