Packing X.x

My boyfriend Chris and I are moving to the next town over to stay with his family for a while until we can get our own apartment. We WERE going to move next weekend but now we are moving Tuesday..... and we havent started packing yet. I just packed a tiny bit but we have alot of work to do. If there is one thing I learned when moving from home, it is that what may seem like not that much stuff, turns into mountains to pack. We are going to need more boxes x.x

Slurpee Day!!!! XD

Today is July 11th which is 7/11 day!!! YAY!!! FREE SLERPEES!!! From 11am to 7pm, You can come in and get a free small Slurpee. I told my mom about it and before I left her house for home we made sure to get a cup. She got Wild Cherry while I tried the Pina Colada. Absolutely delicious. Living in Florida where the summer gets hot as balls, its nice to have a yummyful Slurpee to beat the heat. =P

Blue Wig

Milissa sent me selfies she took wearing my blue wig the other day. She looks fabulous and its the exact color she always wanted XD Just look at this lovely lady X3

Milissa's Birthday

Soooooooo, Milissa's birthday was on Sunday the 6th. I got her Maybelline Eye Studio Master Drama Eyeliner and she loved it XD She also put on my blue wig but sadly I didn’t think to snap a photo of her wearing it DX

Our friend Katelynn was there too when I got there and the three of us and Milissa’s mommy chatted till we went to go get pizza and by the time we got back Tabitha was there. Soon after David showed up and brought Milissa her “present” which we immediately cracked open! 

The 6 of us danced and drank and goofed off in the kitchen all night. 

After dinner Milissa’s sister drove us to go get snacks then we lit off a few smoke bombs and sparklers I brought that were left over from the 4th.  

Everyone left but I slept We were exhausted because it was a super fun night. Ended up falling asleep to The Nanny XD

Heavy Fabrics

So last night I made a bed spread for the day bed at Mama Boots’ house. It was super hard work and took forever. My hands are killing me from maneuvering all the fabric around. It is soooo freakin hard to sew when you have like 20 pounds of quilting fabric and fluff to move around and get under a little needle. Speaking of needles, I had to get a new sewing machine too. Turns out the sewing machine Chris had got me last Christmas was defective from the beginning. The whole line has a timer problem but mom picked up a new Singer Simple that was on sale at Joann’s. I think the only reason she got it was because she really really REALLY wanted me to finish her bed spread. This unfortunately was my 4th machine now, which is why my mom was reluctant to get me another. My first machine literally blew up. I was working with denim and some material got in the lower part of the machine where the bobbin goes and got stuck, which broke something, that bounced around in the main part of the machine, and then the inside caught on fire and started to smoke....... yeah. And then my aunt sent me her old machine that ended up broken in the mail. And then the defective one Chris got me. And now I am on my latest and this one works great and it’s super easy to use. Now that I have enough strength to use one again, I can work on my cosplays I have lined up!!! YAY!!!!

My 4th of July, OOTD HOTD

W00t!!!! Tis be the 4th and we set little fireworks off at moms. I finally got to fire off the big and loud fireworks I have been dying to light since forever. We got the big ones for new years back in 2012 and we couldn't set them off this whole time because they are so loud and big and me and my room mates live in an apartment complex. But Mama Boots went to the dollar store and picked up a bunch of little fireworks and candy to get us through the weekend. My inner Pyro was most please XD

My outfit for the 4th started with a pair of cut offs I just made the night before because I didn't have any denim shorts to wear and lets be honest, nothing says summer or 4th of July like jean cut off shorts. They were a pair of baggyish jeans I had picked up from Goodwill a few weeks ago and I cut them to be longer than short shorts but shorter than bermuda shorts. I threw them in the wash a few times to give the ends a worn look. I layered a bright blue spaghetti strap top with a red, white and blue tiedye tank and topped it off with a super bleached vest I had made out of an old jean jacket years ago (the back says "Undercover Skittle Ninja". On my feet I wore a pair of thrifted platforms with denim denim straps. Super cute.

And as for my hair, I am wearing my bright red Ariel wig with my  blue Hatsune Miku pony tail clips. The Miku clips were a set that came with a base wig and the clips actually came curly when I ordered them. The ones I actually wanted were a bit shorter and strait with a bit of a wave at the end to the point where its just a little flip but it ended up being curly. And it was SUPER curly too. And with the curls in individual locks, it took forever to brush the curls out but I managed it. I actually worked with the clips for about 2 hours or so, just brushing and styling. I wanted to make them into buns but it just wasn't working out so i braided them and ended up loving the final outcome. and with them tied off at the top of the braid, it kind of looks like they are little buns with braids coming out so it was a bit of a win win.  =)

Blog name

Sooooo…. It took me forever to come up with a blog name. Every name I came up with was already taken. “The Freak Chic Critique”, “Pretty in Punk”, “Runway Streets”,  “Age of Aquarius Apperal”. I even blog blocked myself way back in 2011 by making a blog with my nick name “Jezzie13” and I didn’t even have one post. But as I scour the internet and look at other bloggers, I see a lot of them use their real names or variations. After all the trouble I went through to find a good name, I wonder if I should change the name once again? I don’t think I will but I wonder if I will regret it one day…..
